NRL are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Graphic Designer to join us for 12 months. You will be part of a busy and growing creative team, delivering strong graphics and visual communications across internal/external projects. With many of our clients across the UK and Ireland, you may on occasions be required to work in other offices across these regions.

Responsibilities associated with this post will include:

  • Delivering engaging visual communication to our target audience.

  • Embracing the team’s strategy by supporting our vision for design excellence.

  • Communicating your ideas clearly and with confidence through the design team and wider sales department.

  • Converting complex briefs into engaging visual communication.

  • Liaising directly with clients and senior team members.

  • Adding value to existing visual communication by offering innovative design solutions that provide us with a competitive edge in the marketplace.

  • Sharing knowledge and new ideas with the wider creative team.

  • Embracing our global creative network.

Essential Criteria

  • 5 years+ design related experience.

  • Fully conversant in Adobe CC core software

  • Must be a competent user of Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Highly organised and passionate about data, design, digital and illustration.

  • Strong eye for detail and ability to contribute creative ideas.

  • Able to work under tight deadlines and to prioritise design focus accordingly.

  • Team player.

  • Whilst this is a local role, scope exists to support in other offices, both nationally and internationally.

Desirable Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field is highly desirable.

  • Previous experience in working within a design studio.

  • Ability to work in both a print and digital environment.

  • Videography skills a bonus but not essential
